CapabilitiesSizes and regions
Runs in the EU
At least one region inside the European Union, for EU data rules.
Who offers it
Part of Sizes, regions and hardware, which explains why it matters.
Fully: Blaxel, Boat, boxd, Daytona, E2B, Lizard, Modal, Sandboxer, Tensorlake and Vercel Sandbox. With a catch: Agent 37, Cloudflare Sandbox and Sprites. Not at all: InstaBox and Runtime.

The privacy notice describes a US cluster as well, so check which one your account uses.

The EU region is only switched on for workspaces with a payment method, and you have to ask support.

The service that creates and stops sandboxes sits in the US even when the machine runs in Europe.

EU residency is chosen by using a separate EU web address for the whole account.

Snapshot storage stays in the region the sandbox was made in and cannot be moved.

The catch: There is a French region, but backups and the account's control records are kept in the United States.
docs-confirmed “Backups and the instance's own control-plane record (its id, shape, and status) are stored in the US” Source
The catch: Cloudflare has European locations, but a sandbox cannot be required to stay in one, so it may run outside the EU.
docs-confirmed “Wrangler rejects every other Container application field for this policy, including image, instance_type, max_instances, rollout settings, and placement constraints.” Source
The catch: A Sprite may run in Europe because placement follows you, but you cannot require it to.

Note: There is no European region and no way to ask for one.
